Allow me to share with you the things that I miss in the Philippines. Yes, I have enumerated a number of things that made us decide to finally move here and probably stay here ’til we grow old, but being here for less than a year and being a Filipino at heart there are still things, places, foods or activities that I miss seeing, going to, eating or doing.
While I was browsing posts shared by my friends in Facebook, I chanced upon a post shared by a friend that really made me smile as it brought so much happy childhood memories to me. The post I am referring to was about the return of Christmas on Display (C.O.D.) in Cubao (Quezon City, Philippines).
During our visit to the Philippines a few months ago, my sister-in-law brought me and my kids to this very popular Korean Temple in Bulacan. I was surprised to know that there is this amazing place in Bulacan.
Last November, our family travelled to the Philippines for the first time after living in Canada for almost 9 years. Despite the issue with the traffic and the very humid and hot weather during our visit, we truly enjoyed our first homecoming.
