As I have mentioned, it is one of my intentions for 2016 to feature inspiring stories of people who (like me) immigrated to Canada from their home country.

Season 3 of MasterChef Canada featuring the new batch of home cook hopefuls will premier in 6 days. Last week, I featured one of the lucky home cooks who made it to the top 40.

For 2016 I thought that there is no greater way to inspire my blog readers but to share inspiring stories, that’s why, I will try to often come up with inspiring stories of people I know, I worked with and even people I just met.

I came across this WelcomePack Canada gift box and after a few conversations with the people behind WelcomePackCanada.com I thought that my blog site maybe a good venue to share about this special welcome gift for new Canadian immigrants.

In the past few weeks, I have been in touch with a relative, a few friends and some former colleagues, aside from saying our hi’s and hello’s, we also had the chance to talk about coming and immigrating to Canada.

“We have listened to Canadians and are delivering results. Bringing families together makes for a stronger Canada. Canadians who marry someone from abroad shouldn’t have to wait for years to have them immigrate or be left with uncertainty in terms of their ability to stay. What we’re announcing today is a more efficient, more considerate process to reunite families.”
